Goodwood Revival 2017

Well, as I write this I can see rain pouring off the window......and that was pretty much what I and a host of others saw at this years Revival. The weather was probably the worst I had experienced over the last 18 years - but I'm sure that others might disagree!!

Having said all that it didn't detract from the annual spectacle that is the Goodwood Revival. With a large Italian theme this year it was a heady mix of cultura, eccitazione, passione and diverttimento !!!!

The daily parade of 150 Fiat 500's  - "The Cinquecento" of all shapes, sizes, colours and styles kick started procedings at 9am each morning - (do catch the many clips on social media)

Ecurrie Ecosse - the legendart Giant Killing Le Mans team for Scotland were there in force celebrating their back to back historic Les Mans 24 hour victories in 1956 and 1957

As always, everyone dressed in period, not letting the weather get in the way of living (for 3 days at least) the "Magical Step Back in Time" that is the Goodwood Revival
